The 3rd annual NQ Dirt Drags will be run again on the 2nd and 3rd of July 2011 at the Sarina Showgrounds.
The past 2 events have proven to be a huge success with good sized crowds attending to watch the bikes and quads battle on the dirt.
Entrants have come from as far away as Perth and Sydney to compete in the only event of its kind being held in Queensland.
The V8 powered bikes, Nitro Harleys and modified street bikes are impressive to say the least, but watching 2 five year olds race each other on pee wees in a safe environment has the crowd equally enthralled. Over 120 entrants raced for the trophies and prizes last year.
The event this year is set to be bigger and better. Entrants from all over Australia are confirming that they will attend, with some very competitive machines being constructed. We expect the big V8s to be doing well over 170kmh on the 200m dirt strip - very impressive.
It is expected that the media coverage will be better also, with the Blokes World film crew confirming they will attend, and a number of motor sport and enthusiast publications covering the event.
NQ Dirt Drags is seeking your support in the way of sponsorship. Listed below are the different levels that we are offering, and what you will receive in return.
Major Sponsor - cost $1000
Sponsor is mentioned on the 4MK radio ad campaign that will be run leading up to the event.
Sponsors logo or details displayed on the half page ads that will be run in Crave Magazine prior to the event.
Sponsors logo placed on the web site.
Sponsors logo will be on the race program flyers that will be handed out on race day and a "plug" will be broadcast over the PA system on race day via a pre-recorded message, and played throughout the day.

Gold Sponsor - cost $500

Suppliers
We are seeking individuals or businesses that can supply sand, water truck, grader etc for track preparation before the event, and for track maintenance on the day. We are able to supply an experienced grader operator.
Suppliers will receive the same coverage as Major Sponsors.
Trophies
There are 14 classes of racing, ranging from pee wees, dirt bikes, modified road bikes, Nitro Harleys and the V8 powered bikes. We are seeking businesses or individuals to sponsor these classes. Cost $150. Your name will be engraved on the trophies and mentioned during the presentation ceremony, and a "plug" will be broadcast over the PA system on race day via a pre-recorded message, and played throughout the day.
All sponsors are welcome to provide banners, signs or tents which will be displayed on or around the track over the race weekend.
